Damian Henry is an artist printmaker known for his distinctive figurative images. "I like my work to be direct, simple, spontaneous, quirky but eloquent.”

He is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art, works at Glasgow Print Studio & has had 20 solo shows, in the UK, US, & Canada.

"Damian Henry's beautiful art is the best way to add vibrancy to a damp day. He seems able to turn his hand to any figure or animal - tiger, horse, dog, cat, elephant - all conjured up by his deft skill. He makes it look easy, yet these fluent lines are the result of difficult technical printmaking processes involving etching, aquatint, screenprinting or lino. Results are effortlessly perfect."
Leyla Sanai, Scottish Art Critic

"Henry’s lines are confident; they come from a place of intuition, observation and understanding."
Susan Mansfield, Scotsman Critic
